1. Before you proceed, the most important consideration - should you give jewelry at all?
Keep in mind that not all gifts are always welcome. If you're not that close, you've been clearly signaled that you're just friends, or you've recently broken up with someone, giving a gift can often send the wrong message.

3. Which metal jewelry to choose?

4 rules for always finding quality jewelry:

Avoid brass or other nickel-containing jewelry, as nickel allergy is very common and causes unpleasant soreness, itching, and reactions. If in doubt, you can always ask if the jewelry is nickel-free.

Prefer precious metals or stainless steel, as allergies associated with these metals are very rare. Also, this jewelry is the most durable. Keep in mind that solid gold jewelry comes with a high price tag. Sterling silver is more affordable.

You can always choose precious metal-plated jewelry. However, it's always important to ask what metal is underneath the plating. Over time, the plating wears off, and if brass, for example, appears from under the gold, there may again be problems with nickel allergy. All our jewelry is skin-friendly - based on nickel-free sterling silver and plated with pure gold, rose gold, or platinum.

Check the metal hallmark. If possible to visually inspect, look for a small number on the jewelry that indicates the metal hallmark - this number shows how much pure precious metal is in the jewelry alloy per thousand parts - in Estonia, it's mandatory by law to hallmark precious metals.
The silver components of our necklaces and bracelets pictured here are 925 silver or sterling silver. The number 925 indicates that it's silver, of which 92.5% is pure silver and the remaining 7.5% is an alloy of other metals. 925 alloy is commonly used for jewelry to make the metal stronger. 999 silver is too soft for jewelry and utensils.
6. Sizes of different jewelry
Earrings - be sure to choose the right size for her.
