MATERIALS

This necklace is made of 925 sterling silver with 3 plating options: 24-carat gold, 18-carat rose gold, or platinum. The inside is birch wood.

Distant Galaxy

Exploring the deepest ends of the Universe, astronomers have come across many exciting occurrences. The story of this red necklace is about four mysterious galaxies as old as the Universe itself.

Far away, further, than our minds can grasp, lie four-star clusters hidden in the unknown. These may be the first galaxies ever born because it has taken nearly 13 billion light-years for their light to reach us, and the Universe itself is about 13.7 billion years old.

This red necklace may be tiny, but it holds the might of the vast Universe within. Red is the colour of something ancient and powerful, like the light of these galaxies - the path the light has travelled through the Universe to reach us has shifted its hue to red wavelengths.
